A creamware flask, of flattened circular form with a short cylindrical neck, press moulded on both sides with designs of birds and foliage in radiating panels and sponged in yellow ochre and manganese, 12cm h, Staffordshire, or possibly Bovey Tracey, c1770 This unusual flask appears to have been cast from a block mould for a saltglazed saucer. Prunus Root saucer - tiny rim nick and a couple of feint descending hairline cracks. Scalloped Peony saucer - insignificant pin head sized flat rim nick which is hardly noticeable. Three pieces of Lowestoft blue and white tea ware, comprising a saucer, transfer printed with the Two Dromedaries on a Raft pattern, a tea bowl, painted with a flowering plant beside a fence and a coffee cup, transfer printed and painted with flowers growing beside a long fence, with various borders, saucer 12cm diam, c1770-80 Glaze almost entirely abraded on the interior of the tea bowl causing it to be of matt appearance, no cracks, chips or restoration to any piece (Please see lot 198 for image)
