CLEMENT, LIEGE', the top of slide with 'MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D'ARMS ET CYCLES-SAINT-ETIENNE', central cocking piece with internal brushed bright bolt, side safe, rear cocking indicator, chequered hard rubber grips, embossed with Clement's trademark, magazine release in back-strap and complete with a later wood box fitted for this pistol. A CASED 4.25mm (LILIPUT) SEMI-AUTOMATIC VEST-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, MODEL '1926 LILIPUT', serial no. 2627, circa 1926, with blued exposed 1 3/4in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, blued slide marked 'LILIPUT KAL 4.25 MODEL 1926', blued frame, safety catch mounted to the left hand side, diminutive chequered black hard-rubber grips with embossed circular panels featuring the calibre on the left grip, detachable magazine, the whole retaining much possible factory blued finish (small losses) and complete with a later wood box and cleaning brush. SHARP'S PATENT 1859' in a circle around the hammer axis screw on both sides, centrally mounted blued hammer with rotary auto-indexing nose, smooth, possible replacement walnut grip and push button opener, together with an English market embossed chequered leatherette case, the inner lid signed 'WILKINSON, PALL MALL LONDON', the tray compartmented and lined in blue velvet and containing a blocked compartment for twelve rounds of ammunition and a cleaning rod compartment (rod absent). A 19th century percussion pistol and an ornate copper powder/shot flaskCondition Report: The moving parts all function, it is not believed that there are any missing components. The stock appears not to have any cracks or restorations to it although it is noted that the stock itself may well have been rubbed down and waxed at some point. There are knocks, scratches and dents etc. commensurate with age and then metal parts of the gun are obviously oxidising. It is noted that the screw underneath the handle holding the back section of the trigger guard has probably been replaced sometime ago and there is a very small 1cm crack to the stock at the end of the wood underneath the barrel
