Percussion 18 bore overcoat pistol, with 8.5inch Damascus octagonal barrel fitted with swivel ramrod and lined at the breach in platinum, back action lock and chequered stock.Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out. 35cm long The pistol is in average condition but could do with some restoration including the tip of the hammer and the foreand area. The metalwork has some wear and pitting throughout. The action works correctly with a very strong spring. The ramrod hangs out loose as does the ramrod pipe. The stock has some wear as well dents scratches and marks. There is a typical minor crack to the stock between the side nail and barrel.

Rolls Royce and Bentley crew factory floor coat together with a Rolls Royce overcoat with button and zip fixings, both with factory logos.  Provenance: Collected over many years by a former fitter at the Rolls Royce and Bentley car plant in Crewe, Cheshire.  The owner was an experienced mechanic, who joined the factory team in the early 1980’s & worked there on the shop floor until retirement in 2006.  As a motor enthusiast, he was a keen collector of mascots, model cars and other automobilia as opportunity arose.
