THREE MINTONS LTD. EARTHENWARE SECESSIONIST PLATES, c.1900, of plain circular form, variously tubelined and painted in typical sombre colours, impressed marks, 9 1/4" diameter (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)Condition Report: No chips or restoration to any. Mustard and green has noticable crazing to centre panel and some tubelining had flaws prior to firing. Turquoise and mustard has noticable crazing to rim and some discolouration to base. Green and turquoise quite poor and discoloured.
A Mintons Windsor lilac ground pate sur pate vase and cover, early 20th c, decorated to the cavetto with a rectangular panel of Diana and putto in a glade, indistinctly signed lower left, in raised gilt frame, 17cm h, gilt printed mark and painted O. A. 1164/T Not cracked or chipped, no restoration, slight contact wear to gilding on top of rim
A rare Mintons teapot and cover, designed by Henry Cole under the pseudonym Felix Summerley's Art Manufacturers, dated 1846, the cream glazed body with simple gilt line detail, the spout with lion head, the handle with goat head terminal and the cover with ram's head finial, iron red printed mark to base, height 15cm (stained and crazed). Note: the design of this teapot and accompanying teaset won the silver medal from the Society of Arts in 1846. The cups and saucers became a staple design for the Minton factory, but the teapot would appear to have been produced in limited numbers. Another example of the teapot is illustrated by Paul Atterbury and Maureen Batkin in 'The Dictionary of Minton', p.260.

There is also a shallow chip on the foot itself. There are also a few surface scratches to the main body.The ironstone jug has a chip to the foot.
