A very large Minton porcelain pink ground vase by Richard Pilsbury. Richly painted on both sides with flowers and butterflies, signed R. Pilsbury, with gilt elephants head handles, and black and gilt decorated foot, stamped MINTONS 1776. Retailed by A. B. Daniell & Sons of Wigmore St., London, with paper label to the base, 60 cm high.
A Mintons majolica game-pie dish, 19th century, typically decorated with game to the cover and leaves to the basket week dish, impressed marks to base, 18 cm high x 36 cm wide, together with a pair late 18th century Worcester porcelain 'Cos lettuce' sauce boats, of shaped designed with floral decoration, 12 cm high x 22 cm long.
Collection of cabinet cups and saucer sets to include 6 for Wedgwood, 5 unmarked, 2 for Mintons and 2 for Coalport Museum, together with two additional cups, a saucer and trinket dish. Many of the pieces have painted marks to the bases and were probably artist trials, as were the unmarked pieces. Provenance: collection of the late Douglas Henson, Art Director for Minton from 1958 and a designer for Wedgwood in the 1970's, being offered by his family.

A pair of early 19th Century English porcelain plates, in the manner of Mintons or Derby, circular rose painted panel within floral panelled border with gilt framed cartouche over blue ground, unmarked, diameter 22cm, together with similar teawares and a Spode entree dish, central circular floral decorated panel reserved to a powder blue ground with raised foliate sprigs within gilt heightened foliate border, width 23.5cm. Pair of Mintons porcelain tea caddies, signed by A Boullemier, of baluster form having scrolled covers with finials and decorated with reserve panels of cherub and young Poseidon with opposing panels of floral sprays. Printed marks to base Minton England, one in gilt with retailer's mark for Mortlock's Oxford Street. 18.5cm high approx. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) The cover of one has been restored overall, other on is good.

A Mintons earthenware two handled pedestal bowl in the Art Nouveau taste - early 20th century, blue-green printed factory mark, with gilt scroll handles, painted with lilies and intertwined leaves on a mottled blue-green ground, 20cm diameter plus handles, 9.75cm high; together with a 1920s Maling lustre ware bowl, 21.2cm diameter. (2)* Mintons: Some gilt wear, notably to top of handles. Some hard water limescale residue below the rim to the interior. A little light glaze scratching to base of interior. No other faults - no chips, cracks or restoration. / Maling: Good condition, with just minor gilt wear and light glaze crazing to the base.

Circa 1900, with neatly painted crown and CXII crests, retailed by Apsley Pellatt & Co, together with a pair of Victorian floral porcelain dessert plates, probably Ridgway, a Wedgwood 1911 St. Gennys Cornish coronation mug, a royal cup, a porcelain figural candlestick, emblematic of Winter, and four side plates.
