Buonanni Filippo. L`autore raccoglie i risultati di diverse osservazioni condotte con il microscopio, di cui si costruì personalmente un esemplare a tre lenti (DSB II, 591-592: ""Buonanni made extensive studies in the natural sciences; he constructed his own microscope with three lenses, which proved to be an ingenious mechanism for continual observation"").
