A small quantity of unboxed playworn Matchbox miniature diecast models, mostly Regular Wheel models from the '1-75 Series' including a 74a Refreshment Canteen and a Bedford Cab (only) with GPW for the 27b model. This lot also includes an A5 'Home Stores' Shop and a late issue of the A2 Bedford Car Transporter with red cab and lower deck, grey upper deck and BPW. (26)
A selection of unboxed playworn diecast and plastic model vehicles by Corgi, Matchbox, Brekina and others including a large scale plastic friction drive copy of the Dinky AEC Merlin Bus together with a small quantity of boxed models by Matchbox, Corgi and others including two Matchbox MB17 Londoner Bus models, one with Rapport labels. Two unboxed Lone Star cap guns and a small quantity of unboxed vintage lead farm related figures are also included as part of this lot.
Five boxed Gerry Anderson TV series related diecast models by Corgi, including 2 x CC00801 Thunderbird 2 models together with CC96397 Angel Interceptor, CC96398 Spectrum Saloon and Cheetah Set and CC96399 SPV and Rhino Set, all from the 'Captain Scarlet' series. All appear VG in generally VG boxes. Also included as part of this lot is a boxed Matchbox Collectibles pewter Thunderbird 2 model, VG with stand in plain box, and an unboxed Dinky Toys #103 Spectrum Patrol Car, G but missing aerial. One of the cases does also contain some miniature metal figures together with twenty unboxed Wade 'Whimsies' and other unbranded miniature ceramic figures.
A boxed Matchbox Models of Yesteryear Y-9 Fowler Big Lion Showman Engine, G+ in F box together with thirty two unboxed models from the early 'Yesteryear' range, including Y-2 Bus, Y-12 Horse Bus, 4 x Y-4 Sentinel, 3 x Y-11 Steam Roller, 6 x Y-1 Allchin and 17 x Y-9 Fowler. Condition of unboxed models ranges from F to G+. (33)
A blue plastic Matchbox Collectors Case with white plastic handle and metal latch, the lid label illustrating the #41 Regular Wheel model, containing 48 unboxed diecast models from the 1-75 series Regular Wheel range including a #33a Ford Zodiac in dark green with GMW and an early versio of the 47c DAF Tipper Container Truck in turquoise, without tow guide and with BPW. Models appear generally G+/VG in G case.
A scarce unboxed Matchbox diecast model from their 1-75 Regular Wheel series, a 71c Ford Heavy Wreck Truck in red and white with red hook, 'Copyright' text, without braces, textured crane bed, 'Esso' labels to both sides and fitted with amber glazing and roof light. A Very Good example of this hard to find variation.
FIVE BOXED MATCHBOX MODELS OF YESTERYEAR, to include 1924 Fowler Showman's Engine, No.Y-9 and other early issues, together with a boxed Budgie Models Bedford L.W.B. Tipper Lorry 'Ham River Grit', No.276, box worn with minor crush damage, missing one inner end flap, one end flap detached but present in box, all models in very lightly playworn condition (6)
