INTERESTING LOT OF MAINLY ANTIQUE DOLL SHOES. Included are 20 pairs of shoes, most of which are antique including a pair of Jumeau shoes with the bee logo, most of which were originally for dolls with a couple pairs of children`s shoes. In addition to the shoes there is a curling iron, mirror, lorgnette, fan and some gloves. SIZE: Largest pair is 4-1/2"" (11cm). Smallest pair is approx. 2"" (5cm). Alfred JARRY (1873-1907). Poème autographe, Les Curiosités (Boniments) ; 1 page in-fol. (bords un peu effrangés ; sous verre). Chanson pour l’opéra-bouffe Le Manoir enchanté ; elle comprend trois couplets (3 huitains) : « Bonnes gens qui passez, accoutrés en touristes, Guignés du coin de l’œil par tous les aubergistes, Ô vous si fiers d’avoir bon œil et bon jarret, La valise à la main et la guêtre au mollet, La lorgnette en sautoir, le feutre sur l’oreille, Prêts à l’ascension de monts et de merveilles, Accourez, accourez, touristes brevetés, Accourez, accourez à la curiosité »... Jarry a inséré dans son opéra-bouffe Le Manoir enchanté cet « Air des curiosités », chanté par Lui, chaque couplet étant séparé par des réflexions d’Elle. Le Manoir enchanté, avec une musique de Claude Terrasse, fut créé le 10 janvier 1905 lors d’une représentation privée. Ce manuscrit a figuré à l’Expojarrysation, n° 349 (ancienne collection Jean Loize).
