A PAIR OF HANDYSIDE CAST IRON PLANTERS LATE 19TH CENTURY Formerly with applied floral mounts, grey painted planters 78cm high, bases 30cm square Set on reconstituted stone pedestals, 91.5cm high, bases 48.5cm square Overall height approximately 169.5cm The later grey paint hides most signs of previous mount points but some are still visible internally and externally. Some bubbling to painted surface which may indicate underlying corrosion to metal. The square plinth bases to the planters are not attached. Pedestals with weathering and old ivy, surface marks and some lower edge and corner wear.
