A STERLING SILVER BARREL-FORM NOVELTY INKWELL, 20TH CENTURY the barrel with clear glass liner and tapering cylindrical pounce holder, stamped 'STERLING'; together with a George V vesta case by W H Haseler Ltd, Birmingham 1920, rounded rectangular with front-opening hinged cover, gilded to interior, with 'SOLKETS' mark. (2) Inkwell 4cm by 4.3cm by 3.2cm, 1.7 troy ounces grossVesta marks clear and well struck to interior. Cover hinge very sturdy, spring catch in good working order. Gilding is good. Minor dings and light surface scratches commensurate with age and use.Inkwell marked 'STERLING' to underside. Stands upright, no rocking. Very clean and tidy.

W. Avery & Sons Redditch - A 19th century Victorian circa. 1870's gilt metal needle case etui. The needle case being in the form of a lucky horseshoe with intricate engraved foliates to the underside with hinged lid opening to reveal interior with three clasps for booklets. Marked W. Avery & Sons Redditch, Patented to Buncher & Haseler 1874. Measures approximately 70mm length.

The needle case having pressed wicker pattern all over with double hinged opening. Stamped W. Avery & Sons, Redditch with registration mark. Patented to Buncher & Haseler in 1875.
