The upholstery in this lot does not comply with the 1988 (Fire & Fire Furnishing) Regulations, unless sold to a known exporter or upholsterer it will be cut from the frame before leaving the premises.

One chair has a small loss (possibly an old knot) at the edge of seat, there is some minor surface wear and scratching overall, all the spindles and legs are sturdy.

Ercol light elm dressing table, rectangular mirror with three drawers under, width 48cm, depth 45cm, height 147cm.Condition report:Good overall condition. Some wear and slight stain marks to the top surface. The mirror frame has a few minor marks and knocks. Otherwise, the sides of the base, drawer fronts, drawer linings, and rear are all in good clean condition. Some odour to the drawer interiors. Drawers run smoothly. Mirror plate itself is good. Label is partly picked (on back of the base unit).

Near pair of Ercol light elm narrow wardrobes, each fitted with a hanging rail, raised on ball casters, width 91cm depth 55cm height 183cm.Qty: 2Condition report:Robe with the lower handles: There is a scar to the right hand side, mid-way down. On the lower left hand side, the dovetailing is standing proud a little. Some wear to the handles and keyhole. Interior is generally clean and in good order. All over surface marks with use, colour is generally even.Robe with the higher positioned handles: The right hand door drags on the base causing a large patch of scuffing and the door is a little stiff to open. Quite a gap between the doors. No key for this one, but heavy wear around the keyhole. Interior is plain, just a hanging rail. Other surface marks and wear to the exterior, inlcuding a scar on the right hand side.Original casters all seem to run well.

Ercol light elm secretaire cabinet, fall front above a cupboard and drawer, width 82cm, depth 45cm, height 111cm.Condition report:Blue label, partly lifting to inside of cupboard. There are multiple marks and scratches to the top surface. There is a slight gap running along a length of 20cm or so along one of the join lines to the top surface. Quite a heavy scuff and dent to the left hand cupboard door. Multiple marks, scratches, shallow indentations to the right hand side, with fewer on the left hand side. Cupboards, fall-front and drawer open well. Interiors are clean but with some wear to the bureau interior. Marks and scratches surrounding the drawer/ cupboard pulls.

Ercol light elm cheval mirror, single drawer under, width 66cm, depth 47cm, height 152cm.Condition report:The strut arm that supports the base of the mirror at an angle has broken. The arm itself is ok but the bracket that it attaches to has broken - see images. There are some spot marks to the top of the base section, with a small degree of surface scratching. The drawer opens well and it retains a half-width glass slide. Original casters run well. Blue label to reverse. Mirror plate itself is good. Frame remains in good condition.

Ercol light elm Giraffe bookcase, open shelves over doors, width 88cm, depth 40cm, height 191cm.Condition report:Height should read 191cm, width at the base of the cupboard is 90cm, depth 41cm. Good overall condition, no splits to the wood. One of the adjustable shelves has a 'C-shaped' water mark. The cupboard has some surface scratches. The upright posts have shadows from adhesive tape throughout the heights. Almost all surfaces have a degree of surface mildew/ mould growth. The cupboard has peg holes for an adjustable shelf, but there is not one present, nor are there any extra support pegs. Extra images showing it in the round have been uploaded.
Lot 400
Ercol light elm and beech dressing table mirror, height 52cm.Condition report:There are some scratches and minor dents to the base. The back plate of the mirror is formed of three sections of wood, and there are two short splits to the planks along to top join lines. Mirror glass is in good condition.
Lot 393
Large Ercol light elm double wardrobe, width 122cm, depth 54cm, height 183cm.Condition report:No drawers to the interior, just a full-width hanging rail. There are four metal brackets on the top which appear to be original to keep the construction together. The right hand side has an obvious 6cm scratch line, almost running verticle, but it may be following a longer groove along the grain lines. Nevertheless, there is a more obvious section that looks like a scratch. There is another 5cm horizontal scratch to the right hand side. Minor marks and wear to the doors and left hand side. Some heavier marks surrounding the handles and keyhole. The key doesn't come out, but it does still turn and operate the latch inside. Interior is generally clean. Even colour throughout. Casters original.
Lot 399
Ercol light elm three tier whatnot, open shelves, on casters, width 91cm, depth 32cm, height 102cm.Condition report:It would benefit a thorough sympathetic clean, with obvious dark stain patches to the uprights. Some scratching to the shelves but quite superficial. Partial ring mark to the top shelf surface. The casters still roll well.
