Lot 657
A pair of Ercol beech and elm yoke and stick back elbow chairs on splayed legs, 52 cm wide, a pair of hoop and stick back dining chairs, 42.5 cm wide and a low stick back chair, 42 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Are worn to the varnish throughout, particularly on the top of the back rail and the are between the sticks at the back. The legs have some water marks and wear to the finish, etc., getting worse towards the feet. Missing their cushions. The two hoop back chairs have lines / wear to the hoops as though they have been constantly hit against a table, etc. Again, missing cushions and legs are in a similar state. There are some heavier bashes to either side of the front legs on both chairs. The low chair is again in a similar condition but the seat is more worn. All five are missing their cushions. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. In need of a good clean. See images for further detail.

An Ercol elm rectangular dining table on splayed beech supports, 152 cm wide x 75 cm deep x 71 cm high CONDITION REPORTS There are some marks to the top so in areas on the top it looks a little bid faded. The legs are faded, particularly at the top. Otherwise general wear and tear to include some surface scratches, etc. See images for further detail.

An Ercol elm three drawer dressing chest with mirrored superstructure, 91.5 cm wide x 129 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has had plastic spacers put in between the mirror and supports. The top is a bit scuffed and has some losses to the varnish and has some other small marks. The top drawer is missing its glass or wood insert. In need of a good clean. There is a large bruise mark down the left hand side as if it has been hit a few times with furniture moving in and out. General wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more details

Ercol light elm and beech rocking chair, hoop back with turned spindles, turned legs and rails on rockers, loose cushions, width 56cm, height 102cm.Condition report:No woodworm. Splits appearing at joints to the front of the chair. Large and small splits to back. Water marks in various places. Chip to edge. Noticeable difference between colour of back and seat covered by cushions and other areas. Please see additional uploaded images.

(5) Age related wear and tear to the chairs and table, including light surface scratches, surface cracks, nicks and loss of varnish.Structurally sound.

[W] Condition Report: Appears in good condition overall, chairs are structurally sound, no apparent splitting, some loss of lacquer in areas, table top has a few light surface marks, good useable condition overall.
