A Limit gold-plated pocket watch, by A.L.D. Dennison. The case of this watch is dirty, and cannot seem to open the back. There is a tiny hairline running from the seconds dial up to around 1o`clock. The case seems in good condition apart from being dirty, there is some rubbing to the loop. Mechanism is unseen and not tested.

TUDOR-a stainless steel manual wind gentleman`s wrist watch, the engine turned black dial with applied steel chevrons inter spaced with even Arabic numerals, tonneau shaped case made by Dennison for Rolex numbered 12856 2622 and fitted to an associated matt black leather strap, with a signed 15 jewel movement. Case diameter 31mm. The nickel plated base metal case body has wear to the plating on the edge and tops of the lugs, with surface scratches and marks overall, the steel case back (Dennison for ROLEX) also having surface scratches and marks, the black dial is in very good condition, the silver tone hands are in good condition, with a few very fine surface marks, general appearance is excellent. The acrylic crystal has lots of surface marks and scratches. The AS calibre 1187/94 15 jewel movement is in good condition and currently in running order, hand set functioning smoothly. Case diameter 29mm. Baker Wigan watch, movement is currently running, hairspring is bunching/sticking and would benefit from a service. Case and bracelet are lightly scratched and scuffed from wear and may benefit from refinishing as many of the marks appear superficial and may polish out. Bracelet shows several dents and marks and measures 16.5cm including case. There is dirt and debris trapped below the glass however dial appears to be in good condition, hands are lightly marked and the minute hand is discoloured at its tip, plastic glass is badly cracked and scratched and would benefit from being replaced. Case diameter 49mm. Waltham pocket watch, movement functions poorly and intermittently and would benefit from being serviced anda replacement mainspring. Case is lightly scratched and scuffed from general wear and may benefit from refinishing as marks appear superficial and may polish out, there are a couple of light dints to the case back and chapter ring which shows some chipping to the enamel. A 20th century gold plated keyless wind full hunter pocket watch signed Waltham U.S.A, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o` clock, bordered by minute track, plain Dennison case numbered 478192, movement numbered 18420836, with Swiss lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm. Together with a silver example and two gold plated examples. The Dennison Hunter case is a `Star` 10 year grade circa 1915, there is some surface wear to the outer, with a few small nicks and surface scratches, the inner cover has the most surface wear to gold plating, the front cover pendant release is working as it should. The white dial has surface debris and a small hairline to the 7 o`clock position, the gilt hands are a slightly different tone. The inner acrylic glass is in good condition, the seven jewel Waltham traveler size 16 movement is complete and all functions operating, and will run although a little lethargic. The silver open face Kendal & Dent pocket watch is key wind and set, the dial is in good condition as is the acrylic crystal, the case has several knocks and dings, to the case back and edge, and hallmarked Birmingham 1896. Case diameter 50mm. Together with two silver open face keyless wind pocket watches. Movement is currently functioning, but would benefit from a clean and an overhaul, the case shows signs of wear with light scratches, marks and tarnishing but the majority of these appear to be superficial and should polish out, there are some more obvious dints around the edge of the case, there is a build up of adhesive around the smaller glass in the half-hunter aperture, the pendant bow feels rather loose, the dial looks to be in excellent condition, as do the hands although there is a nick visible on the minute hand. The glass, although filthy, appears to be in a generally pleasing condition. The other two items are recommended for repair purposes only. Case hallmarked Birmingham 1937 and marked Dennison. Case diameter 49 mm. Movement is currently functioning, but would benefit from an overhaul, the case is show signs of wear commensurate with age and material, with a multitude of light scratches, marks and tarnishing present, the majority of which appear to be superficial and therefore should polish out, please be aware that there is a personal inscription on the dust cover and if you wished this to be removed it would best be filled in, the pendant bow fits snuggly in the pendant with little slack, the dial and hands look to be in a generally good condition, if filthy, with the odd patch of what may be surface rust on the hands only mildly detracting from the overall look, the plastic glass is in a similar condition, trapping debris between it and the dial. Case diameter 49mm. The dial is in very good condition, having a few light surface scratches and no hairlines, one of the scratches extends into the black enamel work of the no. 2 Roman numeral, the blued steel hands are in very good condition, the case has fine surface marks and scratches from general wear and tear, there are a few very light dings and evidence of a crude acid test, the winding crown and bow are in good order, the 15 jewel movement has a blued overcoil hairspring and is very clean condition, and currently in good running order, hand setting and winding functions operating smoothly. The white enamel dial has surface marks and debris, with a small mark on the on the Roman numeral XII, the hour hand has some surface wear, the case has surface wear to the edges with the brass showing through, mainly to the front cover, the hinges are ok and the case shuts securely. The movement is in reasonable condition, and is currently running, but would benefit from a service, also winding and hand set engagement will need attention.
