The presentation was from Baillie William Davidson, a prominent Glasgow businessman, in partnership with Mr Park’s father in the firm of John Laird & Co., Wholesale Provision Merchants. Baillie Davidson had entered Glasgow Town Council in 1908 as Councillor for the Kingston Ward and later was appointed a Baillie.
