Three Dulwich Pottery figures in the manner of Charles Vyse by Jessamine Stella Bray and Sybil V Williams, circa 1932, one depicting girl with lamb, another boy with crab and another boy with toy lamb CONDITION REPORTS Figure depicting a girl has all over crazing, chipping to the base where it has been stuck down, evidence of glue. Some chipping to the grass at her feet and to the lamb's ear/her fingers. The boy with crab has all over crazing and is stuck to the base. The boy with toy lamb has a rough feel all over and some areas of scratching particularly evident to his upper arm holding the lamb. Stuck to base. A Charles Vyse glazed pottery figure "The Cineria Boy", study of man with bunch of flowers on a plinth base, marked to base "CV 1924 Chelsea", 25 cm high, on an ebonised plinth base CONDITION REPORTS Crazing all over especially visible to the paper surrounding the flowers. There are large cracks on the cream base. There is some small chips on the edge of the paper as well as the flowers themselves. Generally is very dirty and in need of a good clean. Has general wear and tear, surface scratches etc conducive with age. See images for further details.
Charles Vyse figure, modelled as a faun riding on the back of a snail perched upon a lettuce leaf, C.Vyse and Chelsea to side of base. The figure measures 22cm high excluding the fitted black wood base. Condition report: the tips of the snail's tentacles are missing, there is a small chip to the edge of the lettuce leaf. Overall fine crazing.
