GOERING HERMANN: (1893-1946) German Political & Military Leader, a leading member of the Nazi Party. Goering was commander of the Luftwaffe during World War II and, during World War I, had been a fighter ace and was awarded the Pour le Merite. Vintage signed 6.5 x 8.5 photograph, a fine image of Goring standing in a three quarter pose wearing his uniform and holding a baton in one hand. Photograph by Rohm. Signed (`Hermann Goring`) in dark fountain pen ink to the image and dated 20th February 1938 in his hand. The signature runs across a slightly darker area of the image although is perfectly legible. The photograph is neatly laid down to the original photographer`s mount. VG
