Australian Army Special Air Service Regiment ‘E’ troop & British Special Boat Service exercise baseball cap. Dark blue cotton cap, of ripstop material with machine embroidered blue/light blue E troop logo, each side shows yellow ‘water ops’ frog & S.B.S. ‘pilgrims’ troop logo. Adjustable velcro strap to rear, with machine embroidered Australian & British flags to rear. Label shows manufacture for PLATATAC. Very good condition overall, showing light wear & a couple of minor stains to sweatband & interior. Ex SASR senior officer collection, who wore this as part of the joint exercise in the early 2010’s.

Weightlifting: A competitor's entrance ticket and itinerary for the British Amateur Championships: British Olympic Trials and Open Novice Competitors at the Drill Hall, Clapham Junction for events 2/7/1927 - 19/11/1927. Lacrosse: Single sheet programme for the International at Richmond, England v. Scotland on 5/4/1924, creased, slightly marked and pencil annotations. Ice Hockey: Wembley Members Ticket for season 1935/6. Opie has exhibited widely in the U.K. and internationally with major museum shows in Germany, Spain, Italy, China, Japan and India. He is represented by a number of major galleries worldwide and has been involved in a variety of public projects globally. This includes work in Tokyo, Prague, Seoul, London, Hong Kong and New York to name but a few. In addition, Opie’s work is to be found in many public art collections including, Tate, British Museum, Victoria & Albert, National Portrait Gallery, MOMA, and many others both here and abroad. He has also held a variety of one-man shows at major commercial galleries from Tokyo to Mumbai.
