A fine A.L.S., Marie Louise, two pages, 8vo, Parma, 29th December 1830, to Victoire, in French. Marie Louise sends her greetings for the new year and mentions she is sending some presents, including two almanacs and a little bagatelle, further expressing her concerns because of typhus and the health of the Countess of Wallis. Further again Marie Louise states `I am sick from suffering and sorrows because of the clothing. Our Opera was whistled and same with the ballet. Madame Lang is crazy again and has contributed to the theatre disorder..´ With blank integral leaf. Genco Manufacturing Company Jiggers Pinball 1932. First released by Genco Manufacturing of Chicago in October 1932. This machine does not appear in much literature, and is the only known example. The machine is a typical early bagatelle, where the player accumulates their score by getting the ball into holes. As with all pinball machines old and new, there was no payout with the game being purely for amusement only. Measuring approx. 19.5" width, 41.5" height, 34" depth. Refurbished and restored by the vendor to a high standard. Please note: All the lots within this auction are located off-site in the West Midlands. Collection will be by appointment from this location which will be made known to buyers upon purchase.
