1987 Williams Big Guns pinball machine in good working condition. Notable Features: Flippers (4), Slingshots (2), 3-bank drop targets (2), Standup targets (13), Kick-out holes (3), Center Up-post, Left outlane kickback, Right outlane detour gate. Two catapults (kickers that propel ball airborne into habitrails). No pop bumpers. One standup target is behind each set of drop targets. The backbox is very tall. Backbox animation (a captive ball is shot into a bagatelle for a bonus score.) During Invincible/Queen's Rescue (Jackpot mode), the center post is raised, the kickback stays active, and the right gate diverts the ball back to the right flipper for a set amount of time. Graesse II, 113. - Vollständige Reihe des umfangreich ausgestatteten Standardwerkes der Gartenarchitektur. Es enthält eine prachtvolle Sammlung von Plänen bekannter und auch weniger gut überlieferter Gartenkunstwerke von englischen, französischen und chinesischen Gärten der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts. In Einzellieferungen in unterschiedlichen Formaten und oftmals mit abweichenden Titeln von dem in Hannover geborenen Militärgeografen Le Rouge (um 1707 - 1790) erstellt und editiert, ist es nur in wenigen Bibliotheken vollständig nachweisbar. Die Hefte wurden von Königen und Fürsten wie ein Musterkatalog genutzt, "sie waren in dieser Hinsicht Modemacher und ästhetische Trendsetter bis in höchste Kreise hinein und zwar in ganz Europa" (M. Niedermeier). Le Rouge präsentiert, oft auch nach Vorlagen dritter gefertigt, Gartenanlagen und Gartengebäude von Versailles, Marly, Bagatelle, Monceau, Ermonville, Chantilly, Chiswick, Désert de Retz, Vauxhall, Richmond, Claremont, West Wycombe, Wilton House, Hannover, Sanssouci, Würzburg, Schwetzingen, Kassel, Karlsruhe, Burgsteinfurt, Wien, Monrepos (Neuwied), Bayreuth, Laxenburg sowie auch eine Vielzahl von Ansichten chinesischer Kaisergärten und Musterbauten von Gartenfollies à la Mode. Jedoch, " ... um Platz zu sparen, druckte er Vorlagen auch mal seitenverkehrt, verkleinerte oder halbierte sie (z. B. Heft V, William Chambers). Eine Gartenansicht, z. B. die des "Neuen Palais von Sanssouci Potsdam" positionierte Le Rouge aus Platzgründen im Bassin des Gartens von Marly (VII, 4). Bei anderen Vorlagen verzichtete er auf malerische Details des Landschaftshintergrundes und zusätzliche Ausschmückungen wie etwa Wolken" (M. Niedermeier). - Die gestochenen Titel, Texte und Tabellen sind innerhalb der Tafelzählung, u. a. in Heft VII mit einer Tabelle einer Auflistung nach Baumarten nach Wuchshöhe sortiert. Um dem ansteigenden Interesse der französischen Bevölkerung an dem Gartenstil William Chambers gerecht zu werden, gab Le Rouge das Heft V mit dem 30-seitigen Text von Chambers in diesem reduzierteren Format auch separat heraus. Dem Heft liegt die englische Originalausgabe "Designs of Chinese Buildings" (1757) zu Grunde (s. Millard Coll., French 50). - Mit seiner Vielfalt an Motiven und Ansichten versteht sich Le Rouges Gartenwerk als bereichernde, visuelle Ergänzung zu den damals aktuellen gartentheorethischen Werken, wenn auch in der Fachwelt als eher kommerziell ausgerichtetes Projekt verstanden.
