A late 19th century 18ct gold cased full hunter pocket watch with stop works mechanism, by Jno. Ashworth & Co. of Manchester, case by Samuel Yeomans, Chester 1895, with foliate chased decoration to the sides and fob loop and slide button to side, the 43mm. white enamel dial with Roman numerals, gilt hands and blued steel stop seconds hand, the signed gilt three-quarter plate lever movement no. 65989, matching numbers to case, fob wound, case diameter 56mm., presentation inscription to dust cover dated 1896, related to Fred W. West's promotion from London Road Stn. to Broad St. Stn., with modern Indian rosewood pocket watch stand by Mike Fitz. (2)

A 19th. century transfer printed ironstone armorial baluster jug with sparrow beak spout bearing the arms of Plymouth with lion supporters beneath a wide band hand decorated in the Imari palette, the underside with the underglaze printed Royal Coat of Arms in black, no further mark. We believe this to be an early Ashworth Brothers production, circa 1862, the firm later becoming Masons Ironstone. Also a large Minton water jug, circa 1890, the white body with entwined roses around. Both excellent examples with no chips, cracks or other defects. Slight wear to gilding on rim of Ashworth jug.(2)
