Single person sterling silver ashtray from a service owned by Reichsmarschall HERMAN GORING, circular design one inch tall with a 2.5 in. dia., marked with an ‘800’ silver purity stamp at the base. The ashtray contains a 0.75 in. lip upon which to rest a cigarette. One side of the ashtray bears Goring’s carefully-engraved coat of arms, an upraised arm in armor grasping a ring, all contained within a shield. Overall, very good.
