"Robert Sevant - Wallpaper design `Insulin 8.25` brown, yellow, black colour way, manufactured by John Line and Son for the Festival of Britain 1951, the outer printed LINE FESTIVAL PATTERN 9401, 36s 0d per piece, 45 x 51cm; another in duck egg blue, yellow, black colour way, the outer printed LINE FESTIVAL PATTERN 9402; and a Wood Brothers Glass Co Festival of Britain Glass Ashtray 1851-1951, octagonal with moulded cellular design to rim, 11.7cm max. (2) * Each pattern in the series was inspired by a crystalline structure of a chemical compound, e.g. insulin. One of four wallpapers produced for the festival site used in the regatta restaurant, in the Exhibition of Science and in the Dome of Discovery. Similar held at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Accession Number: E888-1979."
