Poster `Liverpool Overhead Railway` by WT, D/R size. A superb, panoramic view of Mersey Docks, bursting with ships and liners with a three car unit on the overhead railway in the foreground. The Liver Building is on the horizon. Excellent condition with very light folds and a very minor edge rub in the white margin.
Poster British Railways `Let Us Help You Arrange Your Holiday Travel` by Wolstenholme, D/R size. Semi-pictorial depicting Class 40 number D209 racing beneath a bridge carrying a class 76 EM2 loco with a diesel shunter behind the Signalbox. Published by the British Transport Commission, printed by Waterlow & Sons. Excellent condition. Together with a similar `Let Us Help You Arrange Your Holiday Travel` by Wolstenholme, Crown Royal size. Semi-pictorial depicting 70000 Britannia, folds and minor tape marks.
Poster British Railways `Holidays In Ireland` by Wolstenholm, D/R size. Semi -pictorial with an image of a ship within a green shamrock top left, the rest is text regarding sailings in 1956 within a complete border of small shamrocks. Published by the British Transport Commission, printed by Ernest J. Day. Some edge crinkling otherwise extremely good. Together with another poster advertising direct links to the Continent and Ireland, semi-pictorial with a large ship at top, by Wolstenholme. This one is somewhat ragged.
Poster BR "The Counties of Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire" by Kenneth Steel, double royal size 40" x 25". Depicting a colourful and informative map of the area and the coat of arms of the Isle of Ely, Cambridge University and Cambridgeshire. Published by the Railway Executive Eastern Region, printed by Jordison & Co. Good condition with folds and some minor edge tears and small amount of loss bottom left border.
ABRAM GAMES 1914-1996 "Blonde Bombshell" WWII ATS Recruitment Poster Printed for HM Stationery Office by Fosh & Cross Ltd. 1941 73 x 48.5cm Note: When this poster was first issued, Games was criticised for making the design 'too glamorous' and it was withdrawn. Games went on to design the official stamp for the 1948 Olympic games and the emblem for the 1951 Festival of Britain. (See illustration) Condition Report: 1cm rip to middle top edge, all corners intact, very slight fold to lower face. Ten glue patches to the back, presumably fromn being attached to a wall. Stain on cheek is one of those showing through. Very slight rip to mid-left hand side.

Depicting a British Supermarine Spitfire shoots down a German Heinkel He-111 bomber. 76 x 50cm Together with another damaged poster by Wootton: 'HELP BRITAIN FINISH THE JOB' depicting Spitfires and German aircraft strafing a British Naval aircraft carrier.

Depicting (Red Berets) soldiers from what is now known as the Parachute Regiment emerging from their glider straight into action against visible German forces. 76 x 50.5cm (See illustration)
