Trauben aus Silber, Punze: Halbmond/Krone, 925 S, Rechteck W und Pokal (Silberwarenfabrik Wolter Otto - Schwäbisch Gmünd, 1875-1991). Unter dem Stand bez.: Orrefors. H. 16,5 cm, D. 19 cm, D. mit Trauben: 25,5 cm. Die Traubenanhängern erinnern an die Arbeiten des dänischen Silberschmieds Einar Dragsted.

Edward Hald (Swedish, 1883-1990) for Orrefors, Sweden. Blown glass vase made in the "graal" technique depicting an aquatic scene of fish and marine life forms swimming amid seaweed. First designed in 1936. The vessel is of a stout bulbous form featuring a verdant green gradient along the exterior. The use of the graal method of glass blowing, which Hald and his collaborators at Orrefors pioneered, lends the walls of the vessel and the fish portrayed within them tremendous depth and dynamism. Etched signature, "Orrefors," "Graal," and numbered 139B along the underside.Height: 5 1/4 in x diameter: 4 3/4 in.Condition: There are no chips, cracks, losses, or restorations. There are three stickers and minute adhesive residue along the underside. Light wear to the footrim.
