Loening, published in 1916 and further items.

A RARE FREE FLIGHT MODEL the balsa wood wing covered in pale orange doped fabric, the fuselage, fin, stabiliser and trim tabs in black, on sprung wire undercarriage with rubber tyres, the trailing edge of the platform wing formed for use as a tail skid, 3 1/4" wingspan, c1952; a cranked wing Grunau type balsa wood glider, 22 1/2" wingspan and a model of a Swiss glider HB-693, 26" wingspan (3). Designed by Peter Fisher of Performance Kits and illustrated on the dust jacket of A Collector`s Guide to Model Aero Engines, published MAP Tech Pub, 1977.

Titanic and other Ships, 1st ed., 1935, b & w port. frontis. from a photo, minor spotting to first and last leaves, orig. cloth in bright condition in orig. near-complete d.j., creased and split at head of spine with minimal loss of lettering, 8vo. An exceptional copy of a book most often found in poor condition and almost never with a dust jacket in any condition. The book was withdrawn from sale due to a lawsuit brought by Marconi and hence has become an uncommon and desirable Titanic book in any condition. (1)

Three air force uniform jackets, all late 20th century, including an RAF great coat, a Royal Canadian air force dress jacket with Canadian epaulette `wings` on each shoulder, one medal ribbon and corporal `stripes` to both sleeves and a late 20th century Royal air force flying jacket extensively decorated with squadron badges including the 28th `Pegasus` squadron, the 10th & 24th squadron and the 8th & 9th squadron. The 28th Squadron is a helicopter squadron flying Merlins out of RAF Benson and was the first Merlin squadron to be deployed to Bosnia. The 10th squadron was a transport squardron that was disbanded in 2005 after serving in the Iraq war of 2003. (3)
