Seine Textrecherchen beruhten auf der Kenntnis der Handschriften in der Bibliotheca Palatina (Heidelberg), die ihm dort als Bibliothekar zur Verfügung standen. Die vorliegenden Einbände tragen das Wappensupralibros des Marquis Morante, J. Gomez de la Cortina (1808 – 1868), vergl. dazu P. Hummel, La Bibliotheque du Marquis Morante … in: Bulletin du Bibliophile, 1992, Seite 87 ff. Zustand: Innen altersbedingt gebräunt und fleckig, einige Seiten mit Randläsuren und kleinen Einrissen bzw. Hinterlegungen. Mit wenigen Anmerkungen und Notizen. Mehrere Seiten knapp beschnitten, zum Teil bis an die Kopfzeile, mit geringem Textverlust. Die beiden Einbände sind etwas berieben und bestoßen. Nicht einzeln kollationiert - eine Ausgabe, die vom interessierten Sammler besichtigt werden sollte.
