Original vintage advertising poster by the notable German poster artist Ludwig Hohlwein (1874-1949) for Wolf Biere - Wolf Beer from the Georg Wolf Brewery in Fuchsstadt - Bavaria Germany. The brewery was built in 1739 and was in operated as a family business until 2009, when it was taken over by the Kauzen-Brau bewery. The poster features an image of a white goat sticking its tongue out with a glass of foamy beer against black background. The Wolf Biere logo in the bottom left corner features an illustration of a wolf and a pint of beer and blue text over white background. Text in red below the image reads - Bock. Brauerei Wolf Fuchsstadt Bei Wurzburg / Bock. Wolf Fuchsstadt Brewery near Wurzburg. Bock is of German origin, traditionally it is a strong lager, sometimes an ale, and can range from light copper to brown colour. Very good condition, creasing. We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. We use Royal Mail special delivery with insurance for postage in the UK and signed and tracked service where available with a maximum insurance of £250 for international shipments. Over-sized posters (over 80cm) are shipped by UPS.
We aim to dispatch items within 1-3 working days, delivery to UK addresses usually takes 2-3 working days. Delivery to international addresses varies depending on destination and usually takes 7-10 working days.
