Peter Wileman b1946 - An oil on board painting depicting an landscape scene with blue sky and emerging sunset.The bold but well blended colours emphasis the mood and emotions of the peace which capture the light of the setting. Signed by Wileman to lower right corner in red. Housed in a good frame. Complete with De Montfort gallery label to reverse and copy of Valuation certificate can be provided on request. Seeking atmosphere through light and colour, he works in varying degrees of abstraction. Peter has won many awards for his paintings including: The Frank Herring Award in 2000; The Cornelissen & Son Award in 2003 ; The Clerc Fowle gold medal in 2006; The DAS Prize in 2007 and The Charles Pears Award and The Stanley Grimm Prize in 2010 and The Dartington Crystal Chalice in 2012. Peters paintings can be found in private collections worldwide and have been shown on television.

Wileman & Co (Foley) Snowdrop pattern tea service c1899, comprising twelve trios, two cake plates, jug and slop bowl, pattern 9177, Rd 331958 - Condition Report Excellent condition overall. Very minor faults including some surface scratches to saucers, small chip to side plate foot rim, small deep scratch to saucer, and small chip to the rim of another saucer.
A 1940s oak dome topped mantel clock with silvered dial, width 40cm, a Wileman & Co Foley faience miniature clock in the form of a longcase clock, height 34cm, and two anniversary clocks (4).Additional InformationFaience clock is very badly damaged, the lower section broken numerous times and glued. The pediment has also been glued, It has a simple modern battery movement which has been replaced. There are further chips and losses throughout. The others show general signs of wear.
