A Victorian brass and anodised theodolite by W & S Jones of London circa 1851, housed in a fitted mahogany box bearing maker's label and label for "C Baker" detailing adjustment March 22nd 1905 CONDITION REPORTS Theodolite - the telescope focuses. Has general wear and tear. Unknown if any pieces are missing. Generally in need of a clean. Box has scuffs, knocks and some small losses to the exterior. The fitted interior - one section is loose.
An early 20th Century lacquered brass theodolite, by T.B. Winter, Newcastle upon Tyne, 32cms (12 5/8in.) long, in original hinged wooden case, 10 x 34.5 x 9.5cms (4 x 13 4/8 x 3 3/4in.) wide, with key and interior label, the theodolite engraved 'T.B. Winter, 21 Grey Street, Newcastle upon Tyne' and 'T.I.C.'.

Optics all clear and all spirit levels working properly. Compass also working properly. Generally appears complete and in good condition.
