Neilson, Mabel Lucie Attwell, and Arthur Rackham, orig. green pictorial cloth, blocked in red, blue, and black, lettered in gilt, a.e.g., an outstanding copy, royal vo. Includes six full-page illustrations by Rackham, although not in Riall, ("With Awful Snorts of Rage the Dragon Flung Itself Upon Him"; "Little Pee-bra is made a Slave in the Temple of the Cats"; "When Midnight Came Thor Smote Again"; "Thus were the Two Great Pachas United"; "Thousands of Mice Stole into the Camp and Fell to Work"; and "He Sprang Right into the Sea"). The stories also include "The Adventures of Edward the Red Teddy Bear", in which Nancy the Dutch Doll dons suffragette colours, bites a policeman, gets arrested, and goes on hunger strike, all accompanied with an excellent illustration by Frank Hart.
