Abschließbares Gehäuse aus verschiedenen Holzarten, innen eine Menage (beschädigt) mit 4 Stöpselkaraffen und 15 Likörgläsern (4x mit Chips, 1 Glas fehlt), farbloses Kristallglas mit Goldstaffage, ca. 27x32x25 cm. Schlüssel anbei, Gehäuse besch., ergänzt, Schloß funktioniert nur eingeschränkt, Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren.| Tantalus with 15 liqueur glasses and 4 decanters, around 1890. Lockable case made of different kinds of wood, inside a menage (damaged) with 4 stopper decanters and 15 liqueur glasses (4x with chips, 1 glass missing), colourless crystal glass with gold decoration, ca. 27x32x25 cm. Key enclosed, case damaged, supplemented, lock functions only to a limited extent, signs of age and use.

A late 19th century oak three bottle Tantalus, the front section opening to reveal compartments containing glasses with hidden drawer beneath containing cribbage boards and playing cards, 35cms wide.Condition ReportThe silver mounts are tarnished and quite dirty. The glass decanters are very tight in the oak frame. The stopper on one of the decanters has been ground down, the stopper on one of the other decanters has a chip to it and the stopper to the other decanter is stuck in the neck of the decanter. The oak frame has some marks and the plinth has a split to the bottom right. The lower draw spring catch does work as does the lock.
