A 17th century ivory handled swordstick, slender tapered blade 32½" of hollow triangular section, the ivory handle having swollen domed top, decorated overall with hollow silver pique studs in the form of entwined 'Cs' (commemorating Charles II), crosslets and rosettes, with narrow silver band at the base, and with spring locking catch, the later haft of malacca with GS band around the top and sheet iron ferrule.
