19th/early20th century Stradivarius copy violin, having double scribed outline and two piece back, bearing label to the interior. Fitted hard case. (B.P. 21% + VAT) There is a label inside, but none on the bow, see additional images. Body 370mm approx, 585mm approx in total. Some minor wear, scratches, finks, chips and dents, no cracks noted. Bridge probably a replacement. Chin rest present but not attached. Tailpiece and tailpiece button attached by replacement wire.
A late 19th to early 20th Century German full violin, bears spurious label 'Antonius Stradivarius 1727', a 20th Century three quarter unlabelled violin, cased, and a Czechoslovakian full size violin bearing Antonius Stradivarius label, hard black case, no bows. THIBAUD JACQUES: (1880-1953) French Violinist. Thibaud died in an airplane crash. His 1709 Stradivarius disappeared with him. A fine and large signed and inscribed 9.5 x 12.5 photograph, the Alban studio photograph from Paris showing Thibaud in a head and shoulders pose. Signed and inscribed in bold green ink to an attractive clear area of the image, also dated 7th December 1932 in his hand. VG

A 18th century or later violin, bearing faded label 'Antonius Stradivarius Cremonentis Faciebat Anno 1721' the last three digits of the date possibly handwritten, main body 14 1/8", overall body length 23 1/2", split flamed maple back plate, old repairs to its top, no tuning pegs.Provenance: from the family of Gabor Miklossy, a highly regarded artist, trained musician and collector.
Stradivarius 18k yellow gold, diamond, and enamel brooch. The bow is inset with seven diamonds and with a pin along the back. The violin is inset with a total of 49 diamonds. Marked along the back.Length: 3 1/2 in x width: 1 in. Gross weight: 24.4 g.Condition: No visible cracks, losses, or restoration under UV light. Light wear throughout as expected from age and use. The diamonds are intact. There is a dent to one of the strings; please see the listing image. Light erosion to the metal components; see the listing image.
