'they just say - you're recording on such and such a date and they hope we turn up with some good songs written ....'), an alternative career path (.... 'I'd probably just have been a lay-about....'), failing at college (....'some other lads did my exams for me ....'), reading matter ( Clockwork Orange, Alice in Wonderland), his books of prose, tastes in music, the Blues, The Rolling Stones, being a Beatle vis-a-vis anonymity ('Whatever I'd be I'd choose to be rich .... who wants to walk down the street?').The interview was recorded on 1/4 inch Emitape on a Fi-Cord Fidelity Recording machine. The reel-to-reel tape comes in its original Emitape plastic box and is accompanied by the Fi-Cord reel-to-reel machine on which the interview was originally recorded.
