Charlotte Rhead for Crown Ducal and H J Woods - three large pottery wall chargers comprising a Crown Ducal Rhodian pattern charger, patt no 3272, tube lined signature and painted marks, circa 1938, 17 1/2"dia, a Crown Ducal Tudor Rose pattern charger, patt no 4491, painted and printed marks to base, 17 3/8" dia and a Burley ware TL 14 pattern charger, decorated with a continuous band of flowers and leaves, green ground edge border and centre wall, printed marks to base, 16 1/8"dia, circa 1930
In the manner of Charlotte Rhead, a Royal Cauldon jug, early 20th century, the jug of compressed spherical form with raised ribbed neck and loop handle, decorated with tube lined floral and foliate motifs, makers mark and stamped '1802' to base, 13cm high, with a collection of studio pottery wares to include a further jug, vases, bowls and pot lids (Qty)
Charlotte Rhead for Bursley Ware bowl, early 20th century, tube lined with citrus fruits leaves and berries, printed and inscribed marks. 21.3 cm diameter, together with an Eichwald pottery bowl with moulded floral decoration with shaded green ground, moulded marks and numbered 7708. 24 cm diameter. CONDITION REPORT: The Charlotte Rhead bowl has a rubber interior has a rubbed interior, the pink glaze has worn to a mottled orange colour, and there are further worn marks within the remaining pink glaze on the interior. The bowl gives out a dull ring but there are no signs of any obvious chips, cracks or restorations. The foot rim and rim are free from any obvious chips. The Eichwald bowl has very small nicks to the high points on two of the handles and three tiny glaze chips to the interior rim. The interior glazing of the bowl is scratched through use. There is a 3 cm glaze scratch to the underside exterior. The bowl rings outs nicely when lightly tapped.

A Charlotte Rhead tulip pattern jug 16cm high, a Poole Pottery Delphis pattern cylindrical vase 23cm high, two Masnon's Patent Ironstone lamprey handled octagonal jugs, pewter mounted jugs and further ceramics (Qty) Provenance: Clynog Farmhouse, North Wales CONDITION REPORT: All are showing signs of wear and useage and would benefit from a good and thorough clean, one pewter mounted jug has extnesive cracks and chips, one orange glazed jug - pewter mounts broken off and extensive rivet repaired throughout. Rhead jug - chips and nibble to the foot rim and a re-glued chip to the foot rim.

A FREDERICK RHEAD FOR WARDLE POTTERY ARTS AND CRAFTS HADCOTE VASE retailed by Liberty & Co, the blue ground with slip decorated flowers on tubelined stems, 14.5cm high, impressed marks to base, a Carlton Ware Handcraft Delphinium pattern circular pot and cover with wicker handle, 10cm high, a Crown Devon Cretian vase with tube lined decoration and a Plant Tuscan Faience handled vase decorated with grapes and pomegranates, 7cm high (4) Condition Report: All items have crazing. The Wardle vase is missing glaze on the top rim and has small frits around the top rim and base rim. Some wear to the slip decoration.
Two Boxes of Assorted Pottery and Ceramic Items. To include a selection of Wade Whimsies, Caithness Glass, Perfume Atomiser, Wedgwood, Poole and a Susie Cooper tri-handled vase in pale blue with leaf design and a small Charlotte Rhead handled dish, both with some damage. Please see photographs.
