MEMENTO (2000) - Leonard Shelby's (Guy Pierce) Screen-Matched Pocket Note - Leonard Shelby's (Guy Pierce) screen-matched pocket note from Christopher Nolan's Memento. While leaving a restaurant, Leonard wrote down directions from a waiter on how to get back to his motel, the Discount Inn on Lincoln Street. This note screen-matches to the scene where Leonard killed Jimmy (Larry Holden) and took his clothes, pulling the note and Polaroid into the suit. Acquired from an employee of the film's production company, this handwritten and intentionally crumpled note featuring directions beginning "right on Lincoln 12 miles.." was found in a prior lot from the production. That lot is sold separately. This note exhibits tearing at the top from being removed from a spiral-bound notepad as well as ink bleed on the reverse. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN (2005) - Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Ennis Del Mar's (Heath Ledger) License Plates with Continuity Photo Album and Belt Buckle Crew Gift - Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Ennis Del Mar's (Heath Ledger) license plates with a continuity photo album and a belt buckle crew gift from Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain. Jack and Ennis would drive their trucks to Brokeback Mountain for their numerous fishing trips together and when Jack would visit Ennis in Wyoming. Originating from property master Ken Wills, this lot consists of a pair of intentionally distressed white Texas license plate labeled and marked on the back for Jack with scene tags on red tape; a brown Wyoming license plate marked "Ennis Hero Plate" with the date on the back; a red and black leather padded photo album featuring 277 continuity Polaroid photos, each hand marked with scenes and annotations; and a silver- and gold-color metal belt buckle with "BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN CALGARY, 2004" engraved around the edges and featuring a pair of horse riding cowboys over an embossed "an Ang Lee film" with a black velvet pouch. Querelle Blue (1982) Unsigned film poster, possible reproduction, artwork by Andy Warhol, later printed, Hamburg, Germany:Verlag und Alleinvertrieb Universal Prints, c.1983, 39 x 27 inches within frame, 40 ½ x 29 inches overall, framed and glazed. Andy Warhol was commissioned by Fassbinder for this poster and is one of three colours produced from a treated-Polaroid artwork by Andy Warhol. Directed by Werner Rainer Fassbinder (1945-1982), this was to be his final film which was released shortly before his death, starring Brad Davis in the title role. Condition Report: overall good condition. Ewbank's have not removed the poster from the frame at anytime.
