She has built an eclectic and exciting portfolio designing and illustrating everything from book covers, to seed packets, greetings cards, album covers and private commissions. In 2007 Emma was awarded an RHS Silver Gilt Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show for an exhibit she designed, illustrated and constructed for Thompson & Morgan UK. In 2014 she exhibited at the Ipswich Art School as part of a collaborative children’s book illustrator exhibition, and ran art workshops with the museum and local schools. Emma painted three sculptures for Pigs Gone Wild in 2016, as well as a ‘school’s pig’ live at the Suffolk Show, with the help of some school children.
A 1949 Morgan 4/4 drophead coupé, registration number LFJ 46, chassis number 1912, engine number Q595E, maroon.Morgan records state that chassis 1912 was dispatched from their factory on 19th November 1949 as a running chassis en route to Peamore Garages, Exeter. One of three running chassis?s the firm bodied with Standard drophead coupé coachwork and it is believed that 1912 is the sole survivor. The first owner was City Garages, Exeter, then a Mr Percy Thurnburn from Helford Cornwall who bequeathed the car to his employee Frederick Crosley in 1959. From then on the Morgan was maintained by our vendors family garage Tavy Motor Company, Saltash until the company was sold in 1979. On joining the family business in 1965 our vendor immediately had affection for the Morgan carrying out any repairs on the car himself. Eventually he purchased the car from Mr Crosley in 1969. The Morgan was then stored at the garage until 1979 and a programme of improvements were carried out over the next couple of years with the engine being reconditioned, the car having a respray in maroon from its original pale green and the interior was re-trimmed in black leather and a new canvas hood was fitted. The Morgan was finally put back on the road in 1985 and used the following few summers and a wedding in 1993. The last MOT was issued in June 2001 and since then the Morgan has been dry stored in a barn. The recorded mileage of 23,671 miles is believed to be genuine with various MOTs, documents, receipts and the large lengths of time the car has been off the road appear to verify the mileage.The car appears in Chris Harvey?s definitive book Morgan The Last Survivor on page 26 with a photograph and on plate 5. We are delighted to offer for sale this restored LHD 1968 Porsche 911L SWB. This beautiful icon is now presented in Porsche heritage Light Ivory exterior with a near perfect Black leather interior. Only 445 cars were ever built.This particular 911L was supplied new in September 1968 to the state of Pennsylvania, USA. It was ordered in Burgundy Red with a Black leather interior, all of this is noted in the letter of origin from Porsche Cars GB Ltd.The Porsche was restored by recognised Porsche expert, Mr Peter Morgan in 2013. The engine was upgraded to ‘S Spec’ and has just turned 2,000 miles since completion. The whole process has been documented with pictures.Since this excellent restoration, the car has been well maintained and a list of invoices are with the history file. Odometer reading 6,864. A 1988 Morgan 4/4 (not Plus 4), registration number E115 UFD, British Racing green. With 110 years of heritage the Morgan marque continues to offer traditional sports cars with bags of style. Never bowing to convention and outside influences they still prepare cars in a traditional fashion with each car being bespokely made to the original owners requirements. This 4/4 we have the pleasure of offering for auction has covered a very conservative 25,000 miles from new. Purchased by our vendor from the Morgan main dealers Berrybrook finished in traditional British Racing green with a contrasting grey leather interior the Morgan sits on chrome wire wheels, has a stainless steel luggage rack and for that finishing touch there is a leather bonnet strap fitted. This well maintained low mileage 4/4 will be offered for auction with a history file going back to 1988 containing the original owners handbook, receipt and previous MOTs. Triking, founded by Tony Divey as an independent sports car manufacturer in the old school tradition, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Inspired by the Aero engined three wheel sports cars of the 1920s and 30s the Triking cars offer a scintillating performance. As with all other small scale bespoke vehicles, each car is individual and has its own character. This fine example we have the pleasure of offering for auction has been built by a retired engineer to a high standard. Since completion, the Triking has only covered a modest 500 miles. Finished in maroon with a cream leather interior with wood rim steering wheel and dashboard, its weather equipment consists of a tonneau cover. The Triking is powered by a 1064cc V-Twin Moto Guzzi engine which endows the three wheeler with exhilarating performance. The Triking will be offered with a history file and offers tremendous value at a very competitive price when compared to a contemporary modern three wheel Morgan.
