A Jopi apricot mohair musical teddy bear 1920s-30s, with long mohair, clear glass eyes with black pupils, pointed muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head and jointed at shoulders and hips, beige felt paw pads, squeeze operated music box to tummy, 18in. (46cm.) high, together with a small golden mohair bear, probably Chiltern, 14in. (36cm.) high and a large apricot mohair bear, probably Merrythought, 26in. (66cm.) high. (3)
A RARE MERRYTHOUGHT PUNKINHEAD TEDDY BEAR with brown mohair, clear and black glass eyes, inset velvet muzzle, black stitched nose and mouth, golden mohair inner ear and chest, long white mohair scalp, swivel head, jointed limbs with velvet feet and brown felt hand pads, original green felt shorts and label on foot, circa 1951-14in. (35.5cm) high (one eye professionally replaced, very minor wear) Notes: Punkinhead was made exclusively as the mascot for Eaton`s department store in Toronto, Canada
THE FOLLOWING LOT BELONGED TO A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF MERRYTHOUGHT IN IRONBRIDGE, JUNE POWELL WORKED THERE FROM 1970-1978 AND BOUGHT MANY OF THESE ITEMS AS SECONDS A RARE MERRYTHOUGHT PINK PANTHER of pink and white velvet, red velvet top of nose, felt eyes, whiskers and label on right foot, -15.1/2in. (39.5cm) high (label crossed out and some seams need attention); a Mickey Mouse with black dralon plush,-11.1/4in. (28.5cm) high (some glue marks on the back of ear and label crossed out); Hanna Barbera Huckleberry Hound; Mr Jinks the Cat; Jerry Mouse; and a Cheshire Cat (6)

(63.5cm) high (thinning to back of head and some slight thinning and fading)
