Warhammer - Games Workshop - A boxed Warhammer The Lord of the Rings 'Battle of Pelennor Field' set. Weta Workshop, the special effects and prop company which also worked on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, produced swords and other weapons that appeared in Erebor's weapon chamber. This sword is cast from the hero sword of the dwarf character Fili (Dean O'Gorman). The sword is made of hard rubber with a metal armature. It is painted to look like metal. THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES (2014) - Kili (Aidan Turner)-style Set Dressing Sword - A set dressing sword in the style of Kili (Aidan Turner) from Peter Jackson's fantasy-adventure prequel The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Swords and other weapons appeared in the dwarf's stronghold, Erebor. This sword was cast by Weta Workshop, the special effects and prop company which also worked on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, from Kili's hero sword, although it was painted differently for use as set dressing in Erebor. Its handle, for example, is painted brown rather than the blue of Kili's sword. The sword is made of hard rubber with a metal armature. It is painted to look like metal, while the hilt's grip is constructed and painted to look like leather straps. The writing is faded in places, and the page is torn and deliberately weathered for production, but otherwise, it remains in very good condition. THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY (2001-2003) - Legolas' (Orlando Bloom) Pair of Prosthetic Elf Ear Tips - Legolas' (Orlando Bloom) prosthetic elf ear tips from Peter Jackson's epic fantasy trilogy The Lord of the Rings. Bloom wore his elf ear tips throughout his performance as Legolas, from his first appearance at the Council of Elrond in The Fellowship of the Ring to the trilogy's moving conclusion in The Return of the King. These prosthetic pointed ear tips were an essential part of Legolas' elven appearance. Several pairs were created for Bloom by Weta Workshop during the massive production, which required multiple versions of each costume and make-up appliance. The ear tips' colour and shape was designed to suit the actor's complexion. Each is worn from production use and exhibits some cracking due to age. The lot comes with a custom wood-and-metal stand, as well as a letter of authenticity from the actor's mother Sonia Bloom.
