A pair of Linthorpe Pottery vases designed by Dr Christopher Dresser, of bottle shape with flared neck, covered in a finely mottled kingfisher blue glaze pooling towards the base, the interior yellow-ochre, 25cm h, impressed mark, facsimile signature, monogram of Henry Tooth and 363, c1880-89. First vase - short descending hairline crack in the neck otherwise fine. Second vase - in fine condition. No restoration to either vase. NB on the base of the second vase is a fragment of the original printed Linthorpe paper label inscribed ? - 9/-

A Linthorpe Pottery Turquoise Glazed Large Vase, circa 1880, in Hispano-Moresque style, the trumpet neck with waved rim (and internal dribbling glaze over yellow), the shoulders with twelve panels of overlapped flowerheads over a main frieze of four butterfly and flower roundels within leaf frames, on a circular base, impressed mark and numbered 2279, {64.5cm high} (small restoration and two small hairline cracks on rim).
A Linthorpe Pottery Large Turquoise Glazed Tripod Jardiniere, of compressed cushion form, externally moulded to the shoulders with a band of stylised shells and leaves of Hispano-Moresque inspiration, over a moulded fringe, with internal acid yellow glaze, raised upon three short cylindrical feet pierced with Oriental cash motifs, impressed mark "Linthorpe", 35cm high, 53cm diameter.
A POTTERY POT of thistle shape, with a red/brown body, decorated in green and brown glazes with incised decoration underneath. Part of the base unglazed and displaying markings for Linthorpe and facsimile signature for Christopher Dresser. Also showing shape number 78 and monogram JS and monogram for Henry Tooth, 5 in. (12.5cm.) high ++Good. This would appear to be an early number for Linthorpe and Christopher Dresser
A pair of 'Aesthetic Movement' pottery ewers, although unmarked the appearance and design are attributed to Linthorpe Pottery and Christopher Dresser, each vessel is almost globular with a 'humped' middle, a flared neck and exaggerated loop handles, the red clay bodies with streaked beige beneath a clear glaze, 18.5cm. high (2)

An Art pottery jardiniere, attributed to the Linthorpe factory and to a design by Christopher Dresser, the vesssel of compressed globular form supported on three tubular legs pierced with florets, the reddish brown streaked with a milky green and brownish glaze, 21.5cm. high, attributed because glaze has run obscuring any visible makers marks. (cracked on base)
