TWO SCREEN WORN COSTUMES FROM GENE RODDENBERRY'S ANDROMEDA, both from the second season episode 'Pitiless as the Sun' and worn by the character Professor Logich as played by William B. Davis, both are tunic style coats, one in black/grey and burgundy wool, the other in cream leather, both with matching stirrup pants, both complete and in fairly good condition, but the leather has been stored folded and become a little sticky, together with a High Guard Holographic Cube as used in the series (approximately 5cm cube of solid aluminium), in a wooden presentation box, all these items complete with certificates of authenticity from Tribune Entertainment Company and Legends Memorabilia Inc, Langley, British Columbia, Canada

The penny that launched the career of Ronnie Barker: an incredible piece of entertainment memorabilia. A 1901 Victoria bust penny, slightly rubbed. Accompanied by a letter from Ronnie Barker which reads;' This is the actual penny change from the sixpence I gave to the bus conductor for a fivepenny fare to the Oxford Playhouse on the day I went for my interview to get a job. From that day to this I have been lucky in my work. PS - I have had it polished, of course '. The note is signed by Ronnie, and dated April 1980.The letter appears very good, some glue residue to verso from an old album. An interesting piece of entertainment history.

An exciting and colourful collection of circus memorabilia, principally from the 1940s. 50s and 60s, especially the Bertram Mills Circus but also including Billy Smart, Ringling Bros, Tom Arnold, Blackpool Tower and various international circuses. The collection mainly consists of programmes, handbills and newspaper pieces but also includes oddities such as a Bertram Mills contract, the Table Plan for their inaugural luncheon 22nd June 1953, the Daily Graphic photgraph album commemorating Bertram Mills silver jubilee and a David Smart mug. There are also a number of books on circuses and performers such as Coxe, A Seat at the Circus1951; Mannix, Memoirs of a Sword-Swallower, 1951; Lukens, The Sanger Story, 1956; Eipper, Circus, 1931; and Barnum's Struggles and Triumphs, [c.1880]. She then entered the Central School of Dramatic Art.  In 1946 she joined The Old Vic Theatre Company playing Edna in An Inspector Calls, alongside Margaret Leighton, Alec Guiness and Ralph Richardson. It was in the stage reviews, Oranges and Lemons, Penny Plain and Green Room Rag amongst others, that she became known for her impressions of her more famous contemporary British actresses. She wrote to many of the actresses she impersonated requesting their permission for her impressions of them and receiving a signed photograph and letter by return, these letters and photos make up the core of the present collection.
