HARLOW JEAN: (1911-1937) American actress & sex symbol. An exceptionally exquisite vintage signed and inscribed sepia 9.5 x 12 photograph of the platinum blonde in a full-length study, alluringly posing in a figure-hugging plain white dress and with one arm positioned behind her head. Signed in bold, dark fountain pen ink to a light area of the image with an intriguing inscription to Clark Gable, ' “E's” in the port cabin, Just Jean'. Authentic autographs of Harlow are extremely rare in any form and it is hard to imagine a more desirable example than the present photograph, not least in regards to the quality of the image and the association. Some very light, minor thin bands of silvering to the extreme edges of the image, otherwise EX Clark Gable (1901-1960) American actor, Academy Award winner.  Jean Harlow starred alongside Gable in a total of six films, including the box office successes Red Dust (1932; Gable also later starring in John Ford's remake of the film, Mogambo) and Hold Your Man (1933). Gable was Harlow's co-star in her final film, Saratoga, which was completed using doubles and released on 23rd July 1937, less than two months after her death. It was to be MGM's most successful film of the year, and the highest-grossing film of Harlow's career. Provenance: Acquired by the present vendor at Christie's Entertainment Memorabilia sale in New York on 25th July 2003 (lot 71).

Crawford to Gable – ‘How am I doin? I think youre swell’ CRAWFORD JOAN: (1905-1977) American Actress, Academy Award winner. An exceptional, early vintage signed and inscribed sepia 11 x 14 photograph of the young Crawford seated in a seductive three-quarter length pose. Photograph by George Hurrell and bearing his blindstamp to the lower border. Signed by Crawford in bold black fountain pen ink with an inscription to Clark Gable, 'Clarke, How am I doin? I think youre swell, as ever, Joan'. A fabulous association piece, and as such quite rare and desirable. A few very light, extremely minor corner creases, otherwise VG  Clark Gable (1901-1960) American actor, Academy Award winner. Gable starred alongside Joan Crawford in a total of eight films. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cast Crawford in five films in 1931, three of which teamed her opposite Gable, who would soon become the studio's biggest male star and 'King of Hollywood'. The first of the trio of movies was Dance, Fools, Dance, released in February 1931, followed by Laughing Sinners, released in May 1931 and, finally, the film Possessed, which was released in October 1931. All three were immensely popular with audiences and were generally well received by critics, cementing Crawford's position as one of M-G-M's top female stars of the decade. Provenance: Acquired by the present vendor at Christie's Entertainment Memorabilia sale in New York on 25th July 2003 (lot 72).

Burbank Studios. With Lennon 'in town', the house became a hub for musicians and friends and John held a series of get-togethers, when anybody could drop by and have a jam session. Keith Moon and his assistant Dougal Butler arrived in Los Angeles on 1st April and, after a stay at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, on the 10th April moved into John's new rented house in Santa Monica, which had once been owned by actor Peter Lawford and his wife, Pat Kennedy, JFK's sister. One day Ringo Starr, Nilsson and Keith Moon were at the house and were joined by Paul and Linda McCartney, all then participating in a Beatles' song medley. John was asleep but joined the party around the pool in the afternoon. It was during these events that some of the photos offered here were taken, including the shot of John and Paul. Mini V guitar,circa 1984,serial no.821374, blue finish, top and bottom of body with round metal studs, two EMG pickups, two selectors and one control, tremolo unit, scalloped rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, locking nut, angled headstock with six-a-side tuners, maker's logo and lettered K.K. Downing, in hard, rectangular Hamer case, accompanied by letter of provenanceFootnotes:Provenance:Property of Ken (K.K.) Downing of Judas Priest.This was one of four Mini V's in various colours made specially for Ken by Hamer. The red version was sold in these rooms, Lot 145, Entertainment Memorabilia, 17th December 2019.This blue example is similarly customised, with the addition of metal upholsterer's studs to the body to make it appear more 'metal'. It was Ken's main backup guitar to the red version and used during the Turbo, Ram It Down and Painkiller albums and tours era; because of its size it was also his main travelling guitar, for use backstage and in hotel rooms. It can be seen in use in the 1991 Rock In Rio concert video. Estate of Dave Prowse - Department S (1969) - Mr Prowse's personal script for the episode ' The Treasure Of The Costa del Sol ' in which he played the character of Adolfo, along with his 'pink pages' of script amendments, a compliments slip from Elstree Studios and a the original filming call sheet from Friday 6th September 1968. The script being 71pp and bound in its original cardboard cover with Department S logo to the lower corner. Rare pieces of television memorabilia.  Department S is a British spy-fi adventure series, produced by ITC Entertainment. It consists of 28 episodes which originally aired in 1969 and 1970. It stars Peter Wyngarde as author Jason King (later featured in spin-off series Jason King), Joel Fabiani as Stewart Sullivan, and Rosemary Nicols as computer expert Annabelle Hurst. These three are agents for a fictional special department (the "S" of the title) of Interpol. The head of Department S is Sir Curtis Seretse (Dennis Alaba Peters).

In our Prop Store Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction of September 2018 we were fortunate to sell Enzo Sciotti's original concept art (Lot 257 which sold for £7,000) for the poster we have on offer today. This Italian 4-Fogli from the 1971 Italian re-release of "Dr. No" (1962) showcases a full-body view of James Bond (Sean Connery) standing in his iconic pose with his Walther PPK alongside Honey Ryder (Ursula Andress) in her famous white bikini, with a large buckled white British army belt accessory. The moment she emerges from the sea in said bikini has been cited amongst the greatest moments in film and has been widely emulated and parodied on screen since.55" x 78" (140 x 198 cm)Additional Information: Printed in Italy by - Lito - P. AMENDED DESCRIPTION - Titanic (1997) - A White Star Line crew member's knitted navy blue jumper with reversed logo, from the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Due to the large number of extras needed, actors were doubled-up throughout filming and many mirror shots were made. Doctor Who - Replica freestanding Husk costume from Ghost Light (1989). The head, in the form of a fly, and hands are made from moulded plastic and foam latex. The costume also comprises a tuxedo jacket with matching trousers, a white waffle shirt, a blue velvet bow tie, a pair of grey socks and a pair of slip on grey shoes, on mannequin and base. The head and hand pieces were pulled from the original screen used costume mould, and this piece was created by the effects workshop.
