Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Sucrier base cracked, cup with two rim chips, small plate with a slight chip. Jug and saucer free from chips and cracks.

Collection of buff coloured pottery, painted in black with landscapes, to include a pierced stand impressed Ridgway and cup and saucer attributed to Job Ridgway, a dish painted with a titled study of 'The Pied Flycatcher, lidded tureen, dish, cup and saucer, also a similar Don Pottery printed trio, early 19th century, (11) The Don Trio was exhibited in 'The Don Pottery' Exhibition Doncaster in 2001 see page 169 of the Exhibition catalogue. Condition report: Small restorations to the rim and flange, one cup has a chip the lower handle join, The Don coffee can has a hairline crack.
Collection of early 19th century pottery, to include Sewell plate, Sewell Donkin armorial meat plate, Harley Green square shaped dish, Three Don pottery dishes, a Lakin plate, Harley teapot base, a pearlware bowl, also an imari colours cup and saucer together with another cup and two Sewell saucers, also a J. Wheeldon studio pottery bowl circa 1995, (15) Condition report: The Sewell plate is restuck, the meat plate with stapled crack. The Hartley Green dish has a foot chip. The Don square dish has a rim chip, the two other dishes have glazed over chips. The Teapot has spout damage and no cover and foot and rim chips. Both Sewell saucers are cracked and restuck.

Notes Antoinette Holland Haggenburg was born in Arnhem, Holland, she was the second of thirteen brothers and sisters. Her father was the headmaster of the local school. Antoinette began painting at the age of nine, inspired by her grandfather who was also an artist. She spent many hours painting and drawing with her grandfather, he was her first teacher. Painting was Antoinette's passion, during her life, she painted more than a thousand oil paintings. 1938 - 1943 Academy of Art and Design, Arnhem, Holland 1947 Antoinette travelled to England to learn English and then on to South Africa 1957 Married Alexander Holland and moved to Tunbridge Wells 1959 Birth of daughter Rosalind 1965 - 1973 Attended art classes at the Adult Education Centre, Tunbridge Wells.
