WWII – the Blue Shirts small collection relating to this anti-fascist movement which was formed by Commander Oliver Locker-Lampson MP under the title of the ‘Trustees for Freedom’ or the ‘Loyalist League’ including an anti-Hitler publication entitled ‘Heil Hitler – Race Purification’ and with various anti-Hitler cartoons two small posters sheet music for a rallying song called ‘March On’ a handbill for an anti-Bolshevik rally at the Royal Albert Hall and a pair of Blue Shirt cufflinks (unused) together with a world atlas showing the change of sovereignty in Europe with the expansion of the Nazis Locker-Lampson’s concept was to provide a movement which was both anti-fascist and anti-Bolshevik – ie to create a movement which had all the trappings of Mosleyite uniforms and rallies etc but which was diametrically opposed to it. Material relating to the Blue Shirts which has limited success is rare. Note: sold as a collection not subject to return.
