The dial is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches or fading. The movement is present but should be regarded as untested. The clock does set. The box has a certain patination of age and is worn in several places but this is the correct box for the item. He is often depicted with a plump body, adorned with jewels and accompanied by a mongoose in Buddhist iconography. In Tibetan, the mongoose is considered a symbol of Kubera's victory over the Nagas - the guardians of treasures.
