The flared clock case having a porcelain inset front with a ring of Roman numeral cartouches encircling a scenic centre panel depicting woman gathering flowers & cherubs with dove signed Klaktenberger, Regent Street, on a cobalt blue ground enriched with gilded Neo-classical foliage. The broken arch pediment festooned in a garland of flowers and surmounted by the bust of a classical goddess raised on a scotia with sphinxes sat proudly either side of the breakfront base. The whole mounted on a velvet topped giltwood stand with ribbon twist moulding, 16 ins (40 cms) overall in height. The candelabra each having two candle cups projecting either side on foliate scroll arms with a central tapered painted porcelain column surmounted by an urn finial and leading down to conforming giltwood stands, 15 ins (38 cms) high.
