I play all the band instruments and a monkey - simiantaneous", is dated March 18, 1939 on the reverse, with a pencil note that this drawing would be in Johnson's column on Saturday. Unframed, with foxing and discolouration. The self-portrait by Harpo is signed "Love to Eva / From / Harpo Marx', and drawn on a page from an autograph album from the mid 1930s. On the reverse is a signature from Meyer Davis. Provenance: From the collection of the late Christopher Hogwood, CBE
