A Boxwood Clinometer Rule by Stanley, English, c. 1900, in boxwood and brass, with inset magnetic compass, protractor hinge divided to one degree, arm with tables for rise in inches per yard and degrees expressed as proportional incline, signed 'Stanley Great Turnstile London', 16.3cm closed, with hide case. Note: small crack in compass glass.
