Buddy Holly - Piece of original carpet from the Surf Ballroom and Convention Centre, Clear Lake Iowa, 9" x 4.75", sold with a certificate signed by manager Darrel R. Hein to authenticate that this is a piece of the original carpet that was imported from France and laid in 1947 when the new Surf was opened, later sold by public auction at the Surf Ballroom, 3rd February 1990
