London 1933 (1st UK edit) along with an Irish Department of Agriculture Foot and Mouth Disease Precautionary Disinfection Card, signed by Gene Tunney presumably after lading in Dun Laoghaire on August 23rd 1928. Tunney who's parents were from Kiltimagh, Co Mayo was World Heavy Weight Boxing Champion from 1926-1928 and retired undefeated after his last fight which he won in July of 1928. He was a long time friend of George Bernard Shaw.

The effects of one Major John Gordon Stephens - A fascinating large archive of inter-war 1920s / 1930s period Royal Tank Regiment and Royal Armoured Corps based in India, related ephemera and photographs, all as taken by or kept by Major Stephens. The archive comprising of x4 albums of period photographs all taken by or including Stephens. the first album (faux crocodile skin) contains photographs of Armoured cars entering Delhi fort, the Taj Mahal, Imperial Airways plane, Fort Delhi, soldiers marching on Shingi bridge, Ferries, and others. The second album (black) containing more personal images including Stephens in uniform, family, vehicles, gatherings, vehicle accidents, unusual armoured vehicles, excursions, and other such views. The third album (brown) containing just a few images, including several of early RAF aircraft, views in England, more armoured vehicles etc. The fourth and final album (long black) contains Indian views, pictures of locals etc. The collection also contains a large folder of related paperwork including Stephens' Commendation for promotion to Second Lieutenant in 1923, a larger sized regimental photograph ' Royal Tank Corps Depot Boxing Team 1936 ' showing Capt Stephens, various loose photographs, a certificate for a mention in Despatches for Distinguished Service, various letters to Stephens from colleagues (including some mentioning his photographs), a handwritten memoir ' Some Memories Of My Year In Waziristan ' (which follows along with many of the photographs). Kenneth Howard Norton Sr. (August 9, 1943 - September 18, 2013) was an American professional boxer who competed from 1967 to 1981 and held the WBC heavyweight title in 1978. He is best known for his fight trilogy with Muhammad Ali, in which Norton won the first by split decision, lost the second by split decision, and lost the final by a controversial unanimous decision. Norton also fought a slugfest with Larry Holmes in 1978, narrowly losing a split decision. Nicknamed "The Bronx Bull" or "Raging Bull", LaMotta was a rough fighter who was not a particularly big puncher, but he would subject his opponents to vicious beatings in the ring.
